The Laboratory of Industrial and Energy Economics of NTUA are organizing with the collaboration of INNOVATHENS, the Department of Philosophy and History of Science, the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration and the Open Technologies Alliance at 17th and 18th of February 2017 the conference with the title “The Techno-scientific transformation in Greece of the 1980s: Political Constitution, Conflict and Halting“.
The visions of scientific and technological development of Greece in the 1980s were largely denied either mainly because of the political association, economic and neosyntechniakon interest or because of administrative-bureaucratic shortcomings. But the policies were proposed, the measures were taken and the strengthen of the scientific potential created mortgages influenced indelibly developments. The purpose of the conference, in which both researchers and actors of the time will participate, is the critical analysis of the events and their impact on the techno-scientific transformation of the country.
