The Laboratory of Industrial and Energy Economics of National Technical University of Athens (LIEE NTUA) participated in the DRUID 2016 20th Anniversary Conference held in CBS, Copenhagen on June 13-15, 2016.
DRUID (Danish Research Unit for Industrial Dynamics) was created in 1995 by CBS, AAU and SDU to promote the quality and international visibility of Danish research in innovation and entrepreneurship. Today, the annual DRUID conference is a one of the largest European management conferences, and competes only with the Academy of Management in the USA in attracting the world’s leading innovation and entrepreneurship scholars. DRUID16 attracted 350 participants from 35 countries. There were scholars from management, economics, sociology and other disciplines, and addresses core themes in innovation and entrepreneurship, such as open innovation, markets for technology, entrepreneurship, creativity, R&D management, scientific knowledge production, clusters, global innovation networks, institutional, social, and eco-innovation.
Specifically,the participants from LIEE NTUA were Yiannis Caloghirou, NTUA Professor, Aggelos Tsakanikas, NTUA Assistant Professor and Aimilia Protogerou, PhD engineer and researcher at LIEE NTUA, with the poster “Dynamic capabilities in young entrepreneurial ventures: Evidence from Europe” (paper) and “Industry-University R&D Collaboration and Innovative Performance of Greek Manufacturing Firms in Times of Crisis: Do Interactions of Knowledge Flows and Knowledge Stocks Matter?“ (paper).
